    Martin Creed explores the connections between art and the everyday world through drawings, sculptures, sound installations and videos. Creed’s interest and passion for music with a specific attention to language is drawn from his experience as a composer and front man of a band. For Frieze Sounds, Creed presented a short song that doubles as a hypnotic lullaby.

  • Frances Stark

    For Frieze Sounds, Stark continued her investigation of the generative power of language as seen in My Best Thing, her highly acclaimed video first shown at the Venice Biennale in 2011.

Frieze Sounds is a program of sound works featuring three specially commissioned audio works.

Frieze Sounds 2013 will be premiered in the VIP cars at Frieze New York. They will also be accessible via a listening station inside the fair and streamed online.

Frieze Sounds 2013 is programmed and curated by Cecilia Alemani and presented with BMW.
