Michelin-starred, Japanese restaurant Umu returned to Frieze Masters for the fourth year, with its elegant, Kyoto-influenced cuisine. Executive Chef, Yoshinori Ishii sources the highest quality, seasonal ingredients from the British Isles, marrying classical Japanese flavours and philosophy with the avant-garde. Yoshinori created a special menu for the fair including bento boxes and the much-loved Umu ‘fish and chips’ tempura. The Umu bar offered specialty Japanese cocktails as well as a wide selection of sake, wine and champagne.
