2pm - frieze: Appropriation / Representation

In response to both the Art, Culture and Appropriation section, included in the October issue of frieze, and Luke Wills Thompson's recent solo exhibition at Chisenhale, 'autoportrait', which comprised a filmic portrait of Diamond Reynolds, Harry Thorne (frieze assistant editor) and Thompson will discuss representations of suffering. How images of trauma are appropriated in a violent manner (particularly online); the ways in which we, as 21st-century viewers, are implicated in the perpetuation of that act; and the mechanisms that might engender a reconsideration of the very aesthetic of suffering.

3.30pm - Wired at Frieze: Art meets Technology
